L.B. Houston is a public tennis center owned by the City of Dallas. We have a tennis pro shop, sixteen (16) lighted courts, lesson programs, and league programs. Reservations for courts and ball machine are taken one day in advance. The pro shop opens at 9:00 a.m. daily.

In September, 2012, all tennis courts were resurfaced. Here is a close view of a new court. The second picture shows a new stone bench for those who want to relax and watch players on nearby courts!

Court fees are $3.00 plus tax (total $3.25) per person for 1 and 1/2 hours.

We have open sign-up for leagues periodically throughout the year. Leagues are available for all levels of play, from beginners to tournament players.

Group lessons start periodically throughout the year. Private lessons are scheduled as convenient for student and pro.
Drill groups are open to players 3.0 and above. Year-round activity. First-come basis, $15 per person.
      TUESDAY:  11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
      WEDNESDAY:  8:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
      SATURDAY:  1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Instructional drills for 2.0 - 3.0 players are offered on Saturdays from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m., $15 per person.

The ball machine is available on a reservation basis. Call the pro shop for a time. $8 plus tax for 1/2 hour. $15 plus tax for one hour.
